[PyQt] How to keep detached dock widget visible after main window has been minimized

Hi,
Is there a way to keep the dock widget visible after the main window has
been minimized? The dock widget acts like an independent window but is still
controlled by the main window. This is confusing to some users who would
like to just view the info displayed in the dock widget.
