[Eric] Eric IDE start takes server 100% CPU minutes. How to make it start faster?

Hi Mateusz,

this depends on which eric6 additions you have loaded. The 'eric Assistant
Plug-in' for example checks all source files for changes and if it finds
changed ones updates it completion database. The progress is shown in the
status bar. But this should end after some time. However, if you interrupt
this process, it will start anew the next time the project is loaded. Another
task performed upon startup (depending on your configuration) is checking for
updates and/or plug-in updates.

How long all these tasks take depends on the CPU performance of your computer.
On my machine here (Kubuntu with i7 CPU with top performance) opening eric
takes a few seconds.
