[Eric] Eric ignoring keyboard input when there are multiple files open

Hi,

I just tried to reproduce this problem on a freshly installed Kubuntu 9.04 and 
was not successful. Please give step-by-step instructions, version infos and 
infos about the desktop used. If it is Gnome, would it be possible for you to 
switch to KDE and retry again?
