    <p>Meanwhile, I have applied the attached patch to solve my current

      problem. With that, I'm able to call QML functions even from

      non-primary threads.</p>

    <p>Phil, do you think this is a sensible fix ? Feel free to

      incorporate this into PyQt !</p>
