[PyQt] Pretty printing XML when saving from pyqtdeploy to .pdy

Have you considered pretty-printing the .pdy files saved by pyqtdeploy?  
The single really long line does not lend itself to keeping track of 
what's happening when making changes or reviewing later in your revision 
control system of choice.  I did a little perusing and at least found 
one possibly helpful post on SO [1].
