[PyQt] PyQt errors on a QMainWindow

Using the following setup - Kubuntu w/ KDE

python 2.6.4
PyQt 4.5.1
Qt 4.5.2

The window shows fine, but the stdout (I believe) is littered with the
following - - - any suggestions on what this could mean?
