The point is to install the right codecs for the backend to be able to
play the video. In case of windoze this is, if I remember right, Windoze
Media Player; so if you can get it to play *.mov files, your app should
play them as well: try playing one and wmp should ask you if it should
try to find a codec for this media format, looking it up in its (online)
database. If this doesn't help, you may want to try another backend
(there are ones for VLC and mplayer, but both in *very* early
development state). As far as I know (but I haven't checked) there is no
backend for Quicktime on windoze, however.
