[PyQt] viewing PDF files

Hey!

I am trying to create a pyqt GUI that allows users to open and view pdf
files. Is this possible. Any help would be much appreciated. I have come
across the suggestions to use poppler- does this have to be installed or is
it already installed- and how can i call this library in a python script.
