[PyKDE] python splash screen

Having sorted the license - I have started on my app :)

I would like to have a splash screen, much like 'eric' does when it boots. I 
would guess I would start a thread that opens a window for a few seconds 
while the main app loads.

My question - how do I display a QT window without window decoration (ie 
without the top bar with minimize / maximize etc) ?

Any ideas ?
