[PyKDE] Eric3, Panther and focus problems

Folks,

I installed Eric3 on Mac OSX 10.3 with Qt 3.3.2, Sip 4.0rc3, PyQt 3.11. 

I have a focus problem. When I start eric3 from terminal it comes up in
front of the terminal window and I see this error: 

QWidget::setProperty( "sizeGripEnabled", value ) failed: property
invalid, read-only or does not exist

As soon as I click anywhere in the eric window the terminal window comes
to the front and eric always stays behind.

What could be the problem here?
