BlackAdder os a commercial product from thekompany.com. There is nothing free 
about it. You must buy it. If you really want it, and don't know anyone with 
a credit card, you should contact thekompany.com and see if alternat 
arrangements can be made.

BlackAdder, AFAIK, depends on python, pyqt, and qt. These are all free (beer & 
speech). If you are looking to teach with pyqt, you should probably look for 
a free windows editor.
