   I didn't mean to imply that my C++ code runs correctly if it
compiles and links.   Just that it does something that is not
unexpected.   So yes, I do test.

   I'm not new to SIP as I've been using it successfully since last
December.  And this mailing list has been of great help in resolving
problem that I couldn't by looking at the PyQt sip files. The 3 days I
refered to was attempt to add one new feature to the Python interface
to my C++ code.  In hindsight, the way I was attempting to do it was
probably not possible in any of the packages SWIG, SIP, or
Boost.Python.   But the sucessful compile and link mis-lead me to
thinking that what I was doing must be ok.
