[PyKDE] Embedding widgets on the root window

Hi,

Is it possble to embed Qt widgets on the root (background) window using
PyQT? I can embed a Qlabel, but it can be 'wiped' away.

Basicaly, what I want to do, is embed a QCanvasView, then I just do what I
like with it.

Thanks in advance for any hints/tips.

PS. My simple code is based on the desktop.py example, so I'm pretty sure
most of it is OK.
