[PyKDE] Applying patches, how?

Hi,

I got through a successful sip and pyqt 3.0 compile/install on linux.  I'd like now to apply the four patches from the website.   For some reason it is just not obvious to me how to apply them!  Thanks in advance for the [probably obvious] way do it.
