I have done just that several times and it says installed.

try this command in a Python3 shell.

import PyQt4.QtHelp

If you get an ImportError it means, that the QtHelp package is having an 
issue. That is not an eric5 fault. Make sure you have compatible versions of 
Qt4 and PyQt4 installed (best through the package manager of your distro.

It is installed on 2.7, not 3.2. How do i download from the net and install for 3.2
You had mentioned a package installer? How would i find and or use that. Both 2.7 and 3.2mu were pre-installed on my Linus Ubuntu 11.10. So I'm a tad lost on this topic.
